Costco offers military (active, retired and family) over $20 in savings when you join Costco as a new member.
Visit the Costco website for more information about the Costco military discount for new Costco members. Costco will provide you with a $20 Costco Shop Card when you join with proof of your military status.
The Costco Shop Card will be mailed to the address you provided when you joined Costco, provided you enrolled in auto-renewal when you signed up for your Costco membership. The card should arrive in 4-6 weeks after you joined Costco.

Costco Military Discount Eligibility
The Costco Military Discount is available to active duty, Guard and Reserve members, veterans, and retired military members, as well as their spouse or a dependent.
The Costco New Member Promotion is also available to:

- College Students
- First Responders
- Government Employees
To take advantage of this offer, you will need to verify your military service through SheerID.
This Costco promotion is only valid for new Costco members in the first year of membership. Offer requires members to enroll in auto-renewal when they join Costco.
This offer is not valid for renewals or upgrades of an existing membership. Previous Costco members may qualify as new members only if they have not paid membership fees for the past 30 months.
