Enterprise offers military members, retirees, and government employees a five percent discount off of their base rates for leisure travel.
Enterprise offers contracted rates if you are traveling for official business as a military member or government personnel. Federal employees on official orders can reserve their rental here based on the contracted pricing through the military or government organization.
Who Is Eligible for the Enterprise Military Discount?
Current active-duty military members, retired employees, and veterans of the following branches may receive a discount when reserving a rental car from Enterprise:
- Active Air Force and Air Force Reserves
- Army and Army Reserves
- Coast Guard and Coast Guard Reserves
- Marine Corps and Marine Corps Reserves
- Navy and Navy Reserves; as well as the
- Army and Navy National Guard
- Navy Reserves
Discounts may vary based on location. Some locations may also allow military spouses and dependents to receive military discounts.

How to Get the Enterprise Military Discount
Getting your military discount is easy. If you’ve made your reservation online or are risking it and putting it on the day of travel, be sure to bring proof of military service to your pickup location.
Every location is different, so it’s essential to contact the location you will be renting from directly and ask what the approved forms of military ID include.
The most common forms of acceptable identification include your:
- CAC military ID
- Veteran’s ID card
- DD Form 214 (for active duty)
- DD Form 256 (for reservists); and
- DD Form 215 or NGB Form 22 (for veterans)
How Does Enterprise Military Discount Compare to Similar Discounts?
